I live in London. Work as an artist, and it is people enjoying themselves that I love to paint. I have to draw when people cannot see me looking at them or they get self-conscious. This year (2006)I have worked using watercolour or gouache but also have used pencil and pen when doing finished drawings. There is so much going on in London that I have no shortage of inpiration, and collect sketches and photographs to use later on in the winter months.
You visdited my site recently and asked me how I got it to look that way. First, let me thank you for the compliment. But all I do is use the "Edit posts" feature on Blogger. Download to your computer the images you want, and then use the little icon of a photo--it should be on the far right of the list of icons right above the main text box for your post. When you click on that you'll get a window that says, "Add an image from your computer." Hit the "Browse" box, find the image from your computer, hit "Choose", then select the layout and image size, then hit "Upload image." The code for the image will appear at the front of any text you've typed--so will any other images you upload to the text box. Just cut and paste the code to the proper spot in your text. This takes some trial and error in terms of the final pucblished size and orientation of the image, but the more you try the easier it gets. Now, my PC does not do this, but my Mac does. I think it's my PC, not PCs in general. Good luck. And thanks again for the kind words.
Thanks Paul for your reply. I will have another go at putting the pictures where I want them to go. As you say, a question of trial and error. I feel that as I describe myself as an artist I should be able to produce an exciting, visually interesting blog, but it is far from that at present! Cheers, Pauli
